Planning a Desert Safari with Quad Bike? Here's What to Expect
On most safaris, you're the passenger, not the driver. That's exciting, but plenty of guests want to take control themselves. A desert safari with quad bike gives you both: you ride your own quad across the sand, then unwind at a desert camp.
At Desert Safari Quad Bike, this is what we do best. This guide walks you through the packages, the evening, safety and what to bring.
How the Trip Works
It's a classic evening safari with a quad ride added at the start. You ride across the dunes behind a guide, then the safari carries on. There's dune bashing in a 4x4, a stop to watch the sunset, a camel ride and dinner with live shows at the camp.
It's the simplest way to enjoy quad biking in Dubai desert without booking two trips. One pickup and one booking give you a whole evening of fun.
Our Packages
The Classic Combo
This is the package most of our guests choose. You get a quad bike ride followed by the full evening safari, dinner and shows. If it's your first time in the desert, start here.
The VIP Upgrade
Our premium VIP desert safari with quad adds extra comfort to the evening. It runs from about 2:30 PM to 9:30 PM, with VIP service at the camp once you've finished riding. It's ideal for birthdays and special trips.
Safari Without the Quad
Not ready to ride yourself? Our VIP desert safari runs from about 2 PM to 9 PM and doesn't include a quad. If you change your mind, you can usually add a ride on the day.
Just the Ride
For riding only, book a quad bike ride Dubai trip by itself. You get 30 to 60 minutes on the sand, depending on your choice. It suits anyone who's already done a safari or is short on time.
About Our Prices
The quad bike safari price changes with the package, ride time and time of year. Because rates can change, we don't list fixed prices here. Message us your date and number of guests, and we'll send the current price for every package.
How the Day Goes
Getting there
Pickup is from selected points in Dubai and Sharjah, and we confirm the time when you book.
Before you ride
At the quad area, our team gives you a short training session. You'll learn the throttle, the brakes and how to lean into turns. Then it's helmet on and time to ride.
Riding
A guide leads the way, and you follow at a speed that feels right. We keep groups small, with eight riders at most, so there's plenty of space around you.
After the ride
After your ride, the safari continues with dune bashing and a sunset stop. Then you head to the camp for a camel ride, dinner and live shows. At the end of the night, we drive you back to your pickup point.
Small Group Quad Biking
Some companies send riders out in very long lines. You end up riding in a cloud of dust and waiting for others. Our small group quad biking keeps things relaxed, with eight riders or fewer. That means more freedom, more help from the guide and better pictures.
Full Safari or Ride Only?
For a first desert trip, the evening safari with quad bike is the best choice. You get the ride, the sunset, the camels and the camp all in one evening. A quad bike desert safari Dubai trip like this shows you the best of the desert.
If you've done a safari before or have limited time, book just the ride. It's shorter and easy to fit into a busy day.
Is Quad Biking Safe?
It's safe as long as you listen to the guide and follow the training. Every rider gets a helmet and a short lesson before starting. You control your own speed, so you never have to go faster than you want. Our guides keep an eye on every rider from start to finish.
Who Is It For?
Friends travelling together always enjoy the quads. Couples enjoy riding side by side before a relaxed dinner. First-timers appreciate the clear training and gentle start. And if you've already been on a normal safari, the quad adds a fresh thrill. It also works for families with older kids, as long as each rider meets the age rules.
Best Time to Go
The cooler months, October to April, are perfect for riding. The sand is cooler and the evenings at camp are lovely. In summer, go late in the afternoon, when it starts to cool down. Weekends fill up fast, so book a few days ahead.
Other Desert Trips
If you love the night sky, our night desert safari Dubai trip is a real treat. Away from the city lights, the stars are bright and the desert is quiet. You can also book a cultural Bedouin camp trip, a desert photography safari or a dune buggy ride of one to two hours.
